Shakeem ‘Shak’ Bryan is a results-driven Senior Audit Consultant with deep expertise in audit management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance across SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, and ISO 27001 frameworks. With over five years of experience, he helps organizations strengthen their security and compliance posture through strategic, tailored audit solutions.  

Throughout his career with AARC-360, Shakeem has led complex audits involving both IT and business process controls. He specializes in evaluating and enhancing internal control environments across core business operations, finance functions, and IT general controls. From conducting in-depth walkthroughs with management to designing test procedures that assess the effectiveness of business process controls—such as revenue recognition, payroll, and procurement—to assessing IT controls like access control, change management, and system operations, he brings a holistic understanding of enterprise risk.  

Certified as a HITRUST CSF Practitioner and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Shakeem has worked with clients to streamline compliance efforts while maintaining operational efficiency. His portfolio includes successful engagements with a range of organizations. His well-rounded experience combines technical acumen with a strong grasp of organizational workflows, allowing him to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.  

Shakeem’s professional journey began in the U.S. Army, where he served in both operational and administrative roles. This military foundation instilled a strong sense of discipline and accountability that he carries into his consulting practice today. In addition to his audit experience, Shakeem has a background in business development, which enables him to understand the strategic needs of his clients and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.  

Shakeem holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Tampa and continues to build on his expertise through ongoing training and certification. He brings a balanced perspective on compliance, risk, and business needs, making him a valuable resource to clients and colleagues alike.
